To ensure health guidelines following novel corona virus pandemic, the members of Ansar and village defense party (VDP) in Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidh working in the field.
They have been motivating the people to maintain social distance, using mask and not to move unnecessarily in public to protect themselves from the probable attack of the global havoc corona virus.
Upazila Ansar-VDP officer in Shailkupa Asif Iqbal said as per the guidelines of their district commandant in Jhenidah Sanjoy Kumar Saha they have been working in field ignoring the heavy monsoon on Saturday and advised people to maintain social distance, using mask and not to move unnecessarily in public to protect themselves from the probable attack of the corona virus.
A seven-member team in Shailkupa had moved at Shailkupa Chowrasta, Kabirpur Tinrasta intersection, kitchen market, fish and mutton market and distributed masks among the children, elderly and needy people.
District commandant of Ansar and VDP in Jhenidah Sanjoy Kumar Saha when contacted said their personnel have been working restlessly in all six upazilas of the district as per the directions of their director general Major general Kazi Sharif Kaikobad.
The Ansar-VDP men also advising them returned from Dhaka, Gazipur and other cities to stay at home quarantine. Passengers of buses, microbuses and other transports are also come under their routing network.
The law enforcers have been also assisting the executive magistrates engaged in conducting mobile court and other relevant activities following the deadly corona virus at a regular basis.
Their activities will help control the infection and keep the people free from any contamination, the commandant said.
