Another Bangladeshi policeman died of Covid-19 at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital early Monday, report agencies.
The deceased, Md Alamgir Hossain, a constable of Hazaribagh police outpost under Ramna Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, was a resident of village Majardia of Nagarkanda in Faridpur, said a press release issued by the Police Headquarters.
He was 55.
With the death of Alamgir, the number of COVID-19 deaths in Bangladesh Police has jumped to 19. Alamgir breathed his last at about 12:30am, the release said.
