The annual Holy Urs marking the death anniversary of Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Hamidullah (RA) will be held at Mia Shaheb's Maidan Darbar Sharif situated in the old city of Dhaka South premises today (Tuesday ) at Luxmibazar.
Ninth goddinashin peer of Mia Shaheb's Maidan Khankah Sarif Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Sayed Ahamadur Rahim, who is also the fifth Mutawalli of Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Mia Saheb's Maidan Shah Saheb Bari Jame Masjid will conduct the religious discussion, dua mahfil and akheri munazat .
A day -long programme has been organized to mark the day. The program includes Qurankhwani, Waz, Milad Mahfil putting new Gilab on the Mazar after fazar prayers, hamd, nath and religious discussion on the life and activities of Alhaj Hazarat Shah Sufi Syed Hamidullah (RA) widely known as 8th Goddinashin Pir of this Khankah Sharif.
The programme will began through recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Haji Dr. Mohammad Ishtiaq Sazzadur Rahman, Hafez Md. Faruque and Hafez Mohammad Rohmotullah.
A milad mahfil has been organized after the Esha prayers which will be conducted by Alhajj Syed Mohammad Barkatullah Badruddin.
Pesh Imam Hazrat Moulana Mufti Abdur Rahman Belali who is also Khatib of Shah Saheb's Bari Jame Mosjid, Khatib Hazrat Maulana Mufti Jabed Omer Kaderi at Baitul Okba Jame Mosjid ( Fotullah Narayanganj) , Maulana Md. Mojammel Hossain, Hafej Kari Md. Johirul Islam, and also others Islamic Scholars will also participate in religious discussion on this occasion.
Later, Tabarak will be distributed among the devotees.
