Marking the 5th foundation anniversary of Manabseba Blood Donation Organization various programmes were arranged in the Hall of Lauhajong Government Collegeon Saturday afternoon.
Among the activities blood donors, discussed and cake cutting programmes were included.
Lauhjong Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Elias Shikder, Lauhjong Government College Vice Principal Shahidur Rahman Shikder, Integrity Clinic Chairman Ahsan Ullah (Hasan), Lauhjong Press Club President MdMizanur Rahman Jhilu, Tongibari Press Club President Md Jahangir Hossain, Munshiganj Journalists Union spoke at the meeting.
Asaduzzaman Navin, President of Manabseba Blood Donation Organization, presided over the ceremony. General Secretariesof the organization Pinki Rahman and Fauji Hasan Khan Riku organized the function.
On the said occasion, various social, journalist and volunteer organizations of Munshiganj and those who donated blood were given mementos for contributing to social and humanitarian work.
Also, the invited guests and those who contributed to the blood donation program were awarded mementos.
