Andrew Kishore’s son returns, family waiting for daughter

Playback Samrat Andrew Kisjhor has left this life for the next one on July 6 at 6:59pm leaving  everyone to shed tears of mourning for his demise. 

His loved ones are waiting for the arrival of his two children before completing his funeral. And, it is known that already his son Saptak has returned to the country. 

At this moment Andrew Kishor’s body is awaiting funeral at Rajshahi Medical. 

Saptak, the son of Andrew Kishor, returned home from Australia on a flight yesterday morning. Momin Biswas, a disciple of the artist, has confirmed the matter.

He said, “Today (Thursday) at seven in the morning he arrived. Now we are just waiting for Songa. Andrew Kishor’s last rites will be on July 15.”

It is known that the siblings have been living in Australia but the distance between the two is a lot. The universities of the two are in two cities. One lives in Sydney and the other lives in Melbourne. 

So they have to come separately. It may take another four days for his daughter to return home because coronavirus is causing trouble on international flights.

Andrew Kishor was born on 4 November 1955 in Rajshahi. Andrew spent his childhood and adolescence in Rajshahi. The playback journey of Andrew Kishor started in 1986 with the song ‘Achinpurer Rajkumari Nei Je Tar Keu’ in the film ‘Mail Train’ to the tune of Alam Khan. From then on he did not have to look back. 

The renowned artist has been awarded numerous honors including eight National Film Awards for his outstanding contribution to music.

Andrew Kishor has a lot of hits under his belt, namely — Jiboner Galpo Ache Baki Alpo, Haire Manush Rongin Fanush, Dak Diyachhen Doyal Amare, Amar Sara Deho Kheo Go Mati, Amar Buker Moddhe Khane, Amar Babar Mukhe Prothom Jedin Shunechhilam Gan, Bhengechhe Pinjor Melechhe Dana, Shobai To, Bhalobasha Chae, Padmapatar Pani, Ogo Bideshini, Tumi Mor Jiboner Bhabona, Ami Chirokal Premer Kangal, Porena Chokher Palok, Amar Ek Dike Prithibi, Bhalo Achhi Bhalo Thheko and many others.
