Ananya Panday is on a roll currently. After giving a successful film, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, the actor has reportedly signed her next film. She will be next seen with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Shakun Batra's next. The untitled film will be produced by Karan Johar.
If we go by the latest reports, Ananya will be seen playing second lead as the film features Deepika and 'Gully Boy' actor Siddhant in the lead roles. The film is said to be a romantic comedy which revolves around modern-day relationships. It is being said that director Shakun Batra and KJo wanted fresh leading cast and that is why they roped in DP, Siddhant and Ananya for the film. The makers are looking for an actor opposite Ananya. Reports also suggest that the hunt for location has begun. The film will be shot completely in India. After collaborating for ‘Kapoor And Sons’, Karan and Shakun are quite excited for this too. It is being said that an official launch of the film will happen very soon.
Well, it will be interesting to see this trio on the big screen! On the work front, Deepika is gearing up for her upcoming film ‘Chhapaak’ which is based on an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is scheduled for release on 10th January, 2019. While Ananya, who is enjoying the success of her film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, is busy shooting for ‘Khaali Peeli’ opposite Ishaan Khatter.
