Md Aminul Haque, in-charge of Bandarban zone of Bangladesh Tourist Police, is going to receive the ‘IGP Padak’ in recognition of his best performances. Dr Mohammad Jabed Patwari, Inspector General of Police (IGP), will hand over the award to Aminul Haque at a session of the ‘Police Week-2020’ in Dhaka on January 7.
Aminul Haque is being conferred with the prestigious award of Bangladesh Police for his contributions in ensuring security of local and foreign tourists in 2019, best service to the tourists, honesty and devotion. In his reaction, the police official said he works for tourists under directive of Police Super of Chattogram region Apel Mahmud and other high officials of Tourist Police. He is happy over the recognition. Born at Diginala upazila in Khagrachhari, Md Aminul Haque earlier served as in-charge of Potenga sub-zone in the Tourist Police.
