The first reunion of former students of Management Department of Barishal Govt BM College was held through various programmes on the campus on Friday.
Minister of State for Water Development, Colonel (Retd) Zahid Faruk Shamim, attendedthe event as the chief guest. Other guests included Mayor of Barisal City Corporation Abul Khair Abdullah Khokon Serniabat, Acting Principal of Government BM College Professor Dr AS Qayyum Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Barisal Education Board Professor Md Yunus Ali Siddiqui, and President of the Govt BM College Management Department Alumni Association Professor Shah Sajeda.
As the main guest for the event, Colonel (Retd) Zahid Faruk Shamim stated that Barisal Government BM College is one of Bangladesh's traditional educational establishments. Former members of this college's management department have made significant contributions across the nation in a variety of fields. Their success makes us proud.
The pride of Barisal residents, according to special guest Abul Khair Abdullah Khokon Serniabat, is the Barisal Government BM College. My expectation is that former students of this college's management program will be crucial to the advancement of Barisal.
