Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Shahab Uddin said that people of all religions and castes have equal rights in Bangladesh. The father of the nation gifted us a secular country so people of all religions are enjoying equal opportunities. The present government under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is ensuring equal benefits for all so all are progressing equally.
On Friday in Baralekha Upazila Moulvibazar, at Baralekha Upazila Parishad Auditorium, on the occasion of Happy Christmas 2022 celebration of Christians, the Minister of Environment said these things in the speech of the chief guest in the distribution ceremony of 23.500 metric tons of GR rice allocated by the Directorate of Disaster Management in favor of 47 churches under Baralekha Upazila.
Greeting the present Christians on Christmas, the Environment Minister said that the government is providing special facilities for your children.
They are regularly being provided with necessary educational materials. The minister said that the government will provide you with other necessary assistance if necessary.
Baralekha Upazila Executive Officer Sunjit Kumar Chand presided over the event, among others Baralekha Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md Tajuddin and Upazila Project Implementation Officer Ubayed Ullah Khan were present.
