‘All have to work together for development of tourism industry’

Additional DIG of Tourist Police Bidhan Tripura said the reform work has been continuing in all places in the country after the fall of the government during Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. So, it is needed to reform Cox’s Bazar, the tourist city. All have to work together for the development of tourism industry.

He came up with the assertion while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with journalists, coordinators of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and others at Tourist Police office in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday.

He also said Cox’s Bazar is well-known as the tourist city across the world. So, it is important to eliminate the irregularities in this sector and make this city a tourist-friendly and beautiful city for the tourists of home and abroad. It is possible with the combined effort.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar region Abul kalam presided over the meeting where Additional SP (Promoted to SP) Shakil Ahmed and Executive Magistrate of the district administration Tanvir Ahmed spoke as special guests. 

Cox’s Bazar Press Club president Mahbubur Rahman, municipality BNP president Rafikul Huda Chaudhury, Hotel Motel Guest House Owners’ Association president Abul Kashem Sikder, businessmen and others also spoke at meeting.
