Adviser to Local Government Division and Rural Development and Co-operatives Division, A. F. Hassan Ariff, on Sunday instructed all the agencies to work together during the post-flood situation.
He said we are reviewing what efforts we are taking to tackle the flood situation in the future instead of lamenting over the flood.
Adviser A. F. Hassan Ariff said this while exchanging views with the officials of various levels of Chattogram division and Chattogram district at Chattogram Circuit House on Sunday. After exchanging views, advisor A. F. Hassan Ariff spoke with the journalists.
He said we are putting emphasis on repairing the roads that were damaged by the flood, because communication from rural to all level is very important. Besides, it is also necessary to look into the other situations that were created after the flood. Therefore, discussion was held to work together by coordinating all the agencies.
Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Md Tofael Islam, Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanom and officials of various departments were present at that time.
