Alamdanga UZ hospital locked down

A total of 34 persons including medical staffers and executive magistrates were found infected with coronavirus in two upazilas of Chuadanga district till April 28. Alamdanga Health Complex has been kept under lockdown since April 28.  

According to Chuadanga Health Department, the test was conducted by Kushtia Medical College Hospital. At least 7 Medical officers along with health workers were found to be coronavirus positive in Alamdanga Health Complex, 12 persons at different villages in Alamdanga upazila and 9 persons at various areas in Sadar upazila of Chuadanga district. 

It is learnt that the 28 persons' samples are sent for retest to IEDCR in Dhaka on April 28 evening. The result of the test is not found till filling the report.   

Dr. ASM Maruf Hasan, CS, said Alamdanga Upazila Health Complex has been kept under lockdown due to finding coronavirus positive of 7 medical officers and medical staffers including Health Assistant of the health complex. They are advised to stay in home quarantine.
