The sub-committee on industries and commerce of Bangladesh Awami League paid homage by placing wreaths at the grave of Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. At this time, a special prayer was offered for the souls of Bangabandhu and martyrs on August 15, 1975.
In addition, Bangladesh Awami League's sub-committee on industries and commerce held various programs including recitation of the Quran, prayer, and food distribution among the helpless people.
Awami League's sub-committee on industries and commerce’s Chairman Akram Uddin Ahmed and Member Secretary Siddiqur Rahman presided over the program. Former FBCCI President, Jubo League Presidium Member Sheikh Fazle Fahim, FBCCI Former President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin MP, FBCCI Vice President MA Razzak Khan Raj, Vice President Salahuddin Alamgir, Director Nizam Uddin Rajesh, Mir Nizam, Monir Hossain, and other businessmen and political leaders were present there.
Notable, Sheikh Fazle Fahim, president of D-8 Chamber of Commerce and presidium member of Jubo League, invited the leaders of the sub-committee on industry and commerce of Awami League to his place and called for establishing the ideals and philosophy of Bangabandhu.
