AL’s webinar ‘Beyond The Pandemic’ returns today

Awami League will organize a webinar titled ‘Beyond the Pandemic’ on government and party’s initiatives and measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday, said party sources. 

The webinar will be broadcasted live on the party’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ awamileague.1949).

On Saturday, the third episode of the webinar will be hosted at 8.30 pm. This episode’s topic is ‘Reopening Economic Activities Following Health Regulations: Reality and Challenges’. The speakers will discuss the factors behind the decision to resuming economic activities and what are the roles of people and leaders to ensure the health regulations are being followed properly in every aspect of the society and economy. 

Moderated by Prime Minister ’s Special Assistant Barrister Shah Ali Farhad, this episode’s speakers are Bangladesh Awami League’s Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain, Awami League’s Finance and Planning Secretary Waseqa Ayesha Khan, Deputy Publicity and Publication Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza MP and Ahasanul Islam Titu MP.

Viewers can ask questions and place ideas to the speakers during the live session through Facebook. According to the party sources, this webinar’s primary goal is to know what general people, especially the youth, is thinking about government and party’s steps and measures to tackle the pandemic.  

Previously, two episodes of ‘Beyond The Pandemic’ was broadcasted live on AL’s Facebook page. The first show was held on 15th May whose topic was ‘Public Awareness to Tackle Coronavirus’. In this episode, the speakers and viewers talked about how Digital Bangladesh is playing a major role in creating awareness in people to fight COVID-19. 

On the second episode on May 19, speakers discussed on ‘Humanitarian Aid during COVID-19 Crisis’. AL’s General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was connected through a video message. Leaders of AL and its affiliated bodies also joined it.
