Extended Meeting of Chuadanga District Awami League was held on Thursday (November 4) on Chuadanga Collectorate School and College ground.
Kaji Jafarullah Chowdhury, presidium member of central AL was present in the meeting as the chief guest while AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Joint Secretary of central committee, Adv. Amirul Islam Milon, MP and executive member of AL, Parvin Jaman Kolpona, executive member of AL, Adv. Gloria Sarker, MP and executive member of AL, and SM Kamal Hossain, organizing secretary of AL among others spoke as special guests.
BM Mozammel Hoque, organizing secretary of Khulna Divisional AL addressed as chief speaker. The meeting was presided over by Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 and President of District Awami League. Ali Azgar Togor, MP of Chuadanga-2 was present at the meeting.
It is learnt; members of executive committee of District Awami League, President-Secretary of Union Awami League, Poura Awami League, Upazila Awami League, Chairmen of Union Parishads, Upazila Parishads and Zilla Parishad attended the programme among others.
Reajul Islam Joarder Toton, joint secretary of District AL, delivered welcome address at the meeting. The meeting was conducted by Azadul Islam Azad, general secretary of District AL and Munsi Alamgir Hannan, organizing secretary of District Awami League.
Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Awamil League Central Committee AFM Bahauddin Nasim said leaders of BNP want to save the communal attackers in the country when the government of Sheikh Hasina has been leading country to development.
The peace loving people of the country including activists of Awami League will resist them at any cost to maintain peace and prosperity in the country, he stated.
Chief Guest Kaji Jaforullah Chawdhury said, “Do not create division in the party. Work unitedly for strength the party. There is no place for a person in Awami League who will violate the party rules.
He also said, BNP-Jamaat created recent communal violence throughout the country for breaking the development of the country. Work unitedly to protect them under the banner of Awami League.
The programme included following one minute silent for the peace of departed soul of party men, presenting wreaths to the guests and placing wreaths to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. All guests visited the four-stored party office which is established its own land.
