The triennial conference of Ulpur union and Nizra union units of Awami League were held in Gopalganj Sadar on Monday amid festive mood.
The triennial conference of Awami League’s Ulpur union was held on the premises of Free Primary School near Ulpur UP Complex with the unit president Abdur Rahman Mollah in the chair. General secretary of the unit Shahadat Hossain Khan conduted the programme.
President of Gopalganj sadar upazila unit of Awami League and mayor of Gopalganj municipality Kazi Liakat Ali was present as the chief guest at the conference. He also inaugurated the programme.
Meanwhile, the triennial conference of Nizra union Awami League was held on the premises of Nizra Jangal School with the unit president Liakat Hossain Sarder in the chair. General secretary of the unit Farid Ahmed Munshi conducted the programme.
