An extended meeting of Dhaka South City unit of Awami League (AL) was held at the party's central office at Bangabandhu Avenue on emergency basis on Wednesday.
AL Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam was present there as the chief guest with Dhaka South City unit President Abu Ahmed Mannafi (valiant freedom fighter) in the chair, a press release said.
AL Dhaka South City unit General Secretary Humayun Kabir moderated the extended meeting.
Besides, South City Units' Vice Presidents Nurul Amin Ruhul, MP, Dr Dilip Roy and Shahid Serniabat, Joint General Secretaries -- Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, Miraj Hossain and Mohiuddin Ahmed Mahi and Organizing Secretaries -- Akhtar Hossain and Golam Sarwar Kabir attended it, among others.
