Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has provided 200 vans to Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) for collecting and disposing household waste.
CCC Administrator Mohammad Khorshed Alam Sujan received the vans at the premises of the Old City Building in Andarkilla on Sunday.
While receiving the van, CCC Administrator Sujan said that besides the corporation, the residents of the city also have a civic responsibility to keep Chittagong city beautiful and clean. The corporation has continued its efforts to keep the city clean and tidy in the midst of its financial crisis.
He said the city has a tradition and reputation since the time of undivided India. I want to keep that tradition and reputation intact.
