Singer Akriti Kakar whose peppy track ‘Tha Kar Ke’ from ‘Golmaal Returns’ is still loved by all has recorded a song for Jeet’s upcoming release ‘Shesh Theke Shuru’. Titled ‘Madhubala’, soon it will be on air. Actor Sayantika Banerjee will be seen in a cameo in this dance number.
Akriti is one of those singers who effortlessly balance between her Bollywood and Tollywood commitments. Last year she rendered for the popular song Masha Allah in Jeet’s ‘Sultan: The Saviour’. She has also done playback for earlier Bengali films like ‘Power’, ‘Black’, ‘Nabab’ and few others.
“It’s actually the same amount of hard work you have to put in. Earlier, I had difficulties in understanding the Bengali language, so the music composer had to make me understand each word to feel the emotions. But now I understand the Bengali words in a much better way,” said Akriti.
The talented singer also runs her own YouTube channel. She runs a unique poll there – ‘You choose I sing’ on that platform and she is happy to see the audience response to her YouTube channel.
