Eminent businessman and Sponsor Director of Mercantile Bank Ltd AKM Shaheed Reza has been elected as Chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation recently. Morshed Alam, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Limited and other Board of Directors congratulated him with a flower bouquet.
M Amanullah, immediate past Chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation; A. S. M. Feroz Alam, Md. Abdul Hannan, Al-Haj Mosharref Hossain, M A Khan Belal, Directors; Shahidul Ahsan, Sponsor Shareholder, S M Abdul Mannan and Engr. Mohd. Monsuruzzaman, Sponsors and Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, MD and CEO of the bank were present on the occasion.
Prior to this he was the chairman of Mercantile Bank Limited for two years. Besides this, he served as the chairman of EC committee and other committees of the board of Directors of the Bank in several periods. Mr. Reza is the Chairman of ‘Reza Group’, a renowned export oriented textile & apparel industry. He is also involved in Insurance, Financial Services, Newspapers, Electronic Medias and many other business & industries in the country.
