Sheikh Momin Uddin, director of Akij Group and managing director of SAF Leather Industries, a leather industry company, has died of coronavirus.
Akij Group Assistant Manager (Marketing) Nawaz Mohammad Hasan told the media that he died on Monday (August 24) evening.
On August 12, he was admitted to Ad-Din Hospital in Dhaka’s Moghbazar after contracting Covid-19. Sheikh Momin was 63 years old. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters and a son.
Sheikh Momin Uddin is the nephew of late Sheikh Akij Uddin, the founder of Akij Group and brother of Sheikh Afil Uddin, Member of Parliament for Jashore-1 constituency.
