Akhi Alamgir is the daughter of the legendary actor Alamgir. However, she is not known through her father’s identity only, she has made a name for herself as a famous singer.
She is a non-contested music artiste on the stage show scene of Bangladeshi music. On November 1, Akhi Alamgir experienced an unforgettable evening in her music life. The ‘Bijaya Sammilani 2019’ was held at the Kamalagazi Netaji Sports Complex in Kolkata. Famous musicians from the subcontinent, Kumar Sanu and Akhi Alamgir of Bangladesh were honored on the same stage. Kolkata MP Subhashish Chakraborty and MLA Ferdousi Begum, presented Kumar Sanu and Akhi Alamgir with floral compliments and crest.
Akhi Alamgir has described the honor of being awarded with Kumar Sanu on the same stage in front of more than 30,000 spectators at the Sports Complex in Kolkata as an unforgettable moment in her music life. Akhi Alamgir from Kolkata said over the phone, “I was really speechless in the way I was honored in front of thousands of spectators in Kolkata. I am indebted to them for their love and respect. On the occasion, Kumar Sanu and Akhi Alamgir both presented music for two continuous hours. Akhi Alamgir returned from Kolkata to Dhaka yesterday.
