Actor Airin Sultana is about to make her sliver-screen debut in Tollywood. She will be featured in Rajaditya Banerjee’s directorial ‘Shiv Ratri’. The film began its shooting from Saturday. The news was confirmed by the actor herself.
To take part in the film’s shoot, Airin flew off to Kolkata on Friday. On her Tollywood debut, Airin stated, “The talks for the film began few months back. Liking the story, I decided to work in the film. In the film, I will portray the character of Anjali. She will be seen as fiercely independent woman.”
The movie began its shooting from West Bengal’s Purulia district. According to sources, after wrapping up the shoot in Purulia, the cast and crew will move on to shoot in Jharkhand. ‘Shiv Ratri’ will be director Rajaditya Banerjee’s second film. Rajaditya made his directorial debut with ‘Death Certificate’.
The other cast members of the film include Shumon Banerjee, director Rajaditya Banerjee, newbie Aryan Dutta, Partho Sharothi Kumar and others. The movie will be released under the banner of Bakkobenchers Films.
