Air Gun Championship ceremony held

Army Shooting Association emerged as the champions and Bangladesh Navy Shooting Club became runners up in the Golden Jubilee of the Independence Air Gun Championship 2022.

Army Shooting Association won four gold, two silver and three bronze medals to win the title when Navy Shooting Club won two gold, three silver and two bronze medals to lift the runners up trophy.

Meanwhile, a total of 250 shooters and 50 managers and coaches from 39 clubs from across the country participated in the six-day meet was ended on March 19.

The chief of the Army staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed distributed medals and trophies among the winners as the chief guest on Saturday at the Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation (BSSF). 

The Army Chief SM Shafiuddin also handed over prizemoney to the medals winners of Bangladesh shooters in the ISSF Grand Prix 2022, held in Indonesia. 

Shoeb Ahmed, divisional director of the Suzuki was present as the special guest in the prize giving ceremony with President of BSSF and the Chief of Bangladesh General Staff Lt. General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hassan presided over the function.
