Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat leaves Dhaka for China today (Sunday) on a six-day official visit at the invitation of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force of China, said an ISPR press release. During the visit, the Air Chief will make courtesy call with General Wei Fenghe, State Councilor & Minister of National Defence of China and General Ding Laihang, Commander of PLA Air Force.
During call on, they will exchange views on bilateral issues of mutual interest. Besides, he will visit different Military and Civil institutions including State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND), Aviation Institute of PLAAF Research Academy, China Astronaut Research & Training Center, AVIC Guizhou Aircraft Company Limited, Regiment 1 of Flight Test & Training Base (J-10) and Brigade 4 of Shijiazhuang Flying College (J-7) in China.
This visit will play an important role to strengthening the existing relationship between PLA Air Force and Bangladesh Air Force and extending professional co-operation.
