Air Chief Marshal briefs Banamuhu-4 contingent

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is going to replace BANAMUHU-3 contingent stationed at United Nations Mission in Central African Republic (Minusca).

According to a ISPR press release signed by Aysha Siddiqua, Assistant Information Officer of ISPR, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan addressed the members of contingent (BANAMUHU-4) at Air Headquarters on Sunday. While delivering his address, the Chief of Air Staff advised peacekeepers to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity to bring good reputation for BAF as well as for the country. He also participated in a special munajat arranged for the success of the contingent. 

Among others, Principal Staff Officers, Air Officers Commanding of Dhaka area, senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters and Bases were present on the occasion. 

It is mentionable that BAF deployed 3 Armed Version Mi-171 helicopters equipped with Night Vision System and necessary ground support equipment in the said mission. BANAMUHU-4 contingent will be led by Air Commodore Mohammod Sahidul Islam. 

On 6 June, the contingent will depart for Central Africa Republic from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
