Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has opened it's 175th branch at Laksam of Cumilla on Sunday.
Director of the Bank Alhajj Badiur Rahman attended the inaugural ceremony as chief guest while A. K. Azad Director of Central Hospital was present as special guest with Managing Director and CEO of the bank, Farman R Chowdhury in the chair.
Senior Vice President and Head of AIBL Cumilla Zone A.K.M. Amzad Hossain, Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Advocate Rafiqul Islam Heera Organizing Secretary of Laksam Upazila Awami League, Dr. Belal Ahmed Director of Zenith Pharmaceuticals, Shariful Islam Chowdhury Director of A R Chowdhury Ltd, Humayun Kabir and Md. Abul Hasem Dilar Prominent Businessman were also present on the occasion.
While addressing, AIBL Director Alhajj Badiur Rahman said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established with the objective of not only for making profit by doing business but also for contributing to the society.
Mentioning that the Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country, he invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking services from the new branch.
