Ranjan Ghosh and Rituparna Sengupta had a gala time on Wednesday evening as ‘Ahaa Re’ was screened at the 14th Habitat Film Festival in Delhi and received appreciation from all corners. The director-lead actor duo also happily posed for some candid pictures.

Extremely happy to work with the leading lady, Ranjan had said earlier, “She has been extremely supportive all through the film. Given a choice, I would like to cast her in all my movies, but we have not yet decided where to go from here.”

‘Ahaa Re’ is an unconventional romantic story that chronicles around food. While Arifin Shuvoo essays a rich Bangladeshi Muslim Farhaz Choudhury, who visits Kolkata on work after ending a relationship, Rituparna plays the character of a middle-class Hindu Basundhara Ganguly who runs a food catering service. The overwhelming response from the audience has already made Ranjan Ghosh and Rituparna Sengupta, who is also the producer apart from playing the female lead in film, plan a sequel to ‘Ahaa Re’.

Talks are on for the second instalment as the casting will most likely be the same. That means Rituparna and Arifin Shuvoo are set to team up yet again along with Paran Bandopadhyay. However, the title hasn’t been decided yet.
