A 3-day agriculture fair was inaugurated at Sadar Upazila Parishad in Magura from Tuesday.
Magura Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abu Nasir Bablu was present inaugurated the fair as the chief guest.
Additional Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Agriculturist Bishnu Pada Saha, Additional Deputy Director (horticulture) Agriculturist Prakash Chandra Sarkar, Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Humayun Kabir, Bogia Union Parishad chairman Mir Rawnak Hossain and others were present as the special guests at the programme.
The programme was presided over by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mizanur Rahman.
At the fair, various technologies for the development of Kandal crops were displayed at 12 stalls. This fair will end on Thursday.
