A three-day-long agricultural technology fair-2024 under Rajshahi Agriculture Development Project was inaugurated in Santhia upazila of Pabna district on Tuesday with the goal of expanding modern technologies in agriculture.
A rally and a discussion were held during the inauguration programme.
The programme was held at the upazila premise, name Sadhinota Shopan, at around 11:00 am on Tuesday.
Santhia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Zahedul Islam presided over the inauguration programme. Deputy Director of Pabna Department of Agricultural Extension Dr Md Jamal Uddin attended the programme as the chief guest.
Santhia Agricultural Officer Sanjib Kumar Gosswamy delivered the welcome speech at the programme.
Upazila Youth Development Officer Md Golam Sarowar, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Md Jahurul Islam, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abdul Kader Biswas, Sathia Press Club president Manik Mia and beneficiary farmers of various were present at that time.
