A daylong agriculture entrepreneurs' fair and conference was held in Jhenaidah on Tuesday. Supported by Women and E Commerce (WE), Jhenaidah district agricultural office and Smart Agriculture for Farmers and Entrepreneurs (SAFE) jointly organized the event at the office premises of the office of the deputy director in Jhenaidah Khamarbari.
Presided over by deputy director of the department of agricultural extension (DAE) in Jhenaidah Khamarbari Asgar Ali, SAFE founder state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak’s wife Arifa Jesmin Konika, Jhenaidah District Council Chairman M Harun Or Rashid, additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Rathindra Nath Roy, additional superintendent of police in Jhenaidah Imran Zakaria, WE president Nasima Akter Nisha, advisor Major (retd.) Kabir Saqib, executive director Irin Parvin and upazila agricultural officer (UAO) Nur E Nabi among others spoke.
