The Service Agreement on “Production of Tamarind Juice invented by IFST of BCSIR” between BCSIR (Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industry Research) and Nifas Foods was signed on Thursday (May 18).
The signing ceremony was held at the meeting room of BCSIR, says a press released signed by Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, public relations officer of the BCSIR.
Md Delowar Hossain, member (administration) of BCSIR; was present at the signing ceremony as the chief guest, while K.M, Fazlul Bari, proprietor of Nifas Foods; Dr. Sarwar Jahan, member (science & technology); and Shah Abdul Tariq, member (Finance) and secretary of BCSIR; were present as special guests.
The said Tamarind Juice will be produced at PP & PDC of BCSIR and marketed by Nifas Foods was the main motto of the agreement which was signed by Shah Abdul Tariq, member (finance) and secretary of BCSIR; and Redwanul Bari Khandoker from Nifas Foods respectively.
Directors of various laboratories, senior scientists of BCSIR and high officials of Nifas Foods were also present at the event.
