He is an icon before any elderly as well as young men and women who has been rendering services ignoring the figure of his age.

Hailing from Phultala of Khulna, the man started living in Paulbari area of Jashore town when he started his carrier as a helper of bus. He said his daughter was got married while the son has been earning a little with his welding factory job. It was too inadequate to meet the family demand. Further, he (Shamsur Rahman) is still physically fit and does not like to stay home without any physical work. He earns Taka 400 to 600 a day serving the company titled Shovon-Sazib Paribahan moving between Khulna and Kushtia under the banner Rupsha Paribahan.

The energetic and confident elderly man said, he believes no people either man or woman should sit idle without any specific work in the society. Here the physical fitness is the matter, not age. About employment abroad by a section of unemployed young men, the elderly citizen said, the mentality of the job seekers should be changed when huge men and women working in many worst jobs. Sometimes many of them are cheated by a section of brokers or their foreign employers. Many of them are the victim of death at sea, in jungle or another odd situation.

But a young man or woman can lead their lives serving in any local institution, transport vehicles or other similar work for their survival against any position where investment of a several lakh taka was not necessary at all. It is not any ignoring or a matter of losing one’s dignity and personality, the elderly man said.
