Popular actor Afran Nishor's father Abdul Hamid Mia Bhola has died. He died at the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in the capital's Shyamoli on Thursday morning.
It is learned that Abdul Hamid was admitted in the ICU for a week. He was under close observation at the hospital.
He fought against corona for two months in a row. During this time he was tested four to five times. Even ten days ago his test result for corona came negative. However, he was suffering from a brain tumor. He could not get proper treatment for it because of the coronavirus. Also, there was water in his lungs and heart. But, he died without coronavirus. This has been confirmed by the cousin of the deceased Mir Mosharraf.
Afran Nishor Baba Abdul Hamid is a member of Tangail District Council and General Secretary of Bhunapur Upazila Awami League and a heroic freedom fighter. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
His family has informed that he was buried with state honors at Bhunapur Central Cemetery Chabbisha after Janaza at Bhunapur Government Pilot High School ground after Asr Prayers.
