Bangladesh announced a revised squad for the last and final ODI against Ireland, which is set to be held on March 23 at Sylhet.
Afif Hossain has been released from the 15-member squad, he was also benched in the first two ODIs of the series.
The left hander has been out of touch from last year.
After two good innings of 41 and 85 runs in the Zimbabwe tour last August, Afif did not find runs in consecutive series as he scored 6, 0 and 8 against India respectively and 9, 23 and 15 runs in the series against England. He played at number 7 in these two series.
The southpaw is set to join Abahani Limited in Dhaka Premier League (DPL). He is likely to join the national team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against the Irish.
Meanwhile, Pacer Shoriful Islam has also been left out from the squad.
Bangladesh won the first match by a huge margin of 184 runs against the visitors, the second match was washed out after Bangladesh registered their highest total in the ODI format.
