The Bangladesh Technical Education Board has begun accepting applications for the 2024-25 academic year at all government and private polytechnic institutes. This opportunity is available for students who have passed SSC or equivalent exams.
The admission process is divided into three stages. The first stage runs from May 26 to June 25, and students must confirm their admission between July 1 and July 5. The second stage opens on July 9 and closes on July 11, with admission confirmations due from July 15 to July 18. The third and final stage is from July 22 to July 25, with confirmations required by July 29.
Students can apply for a variety of diploma courses, including Diploma-in-Engineering, Diploma-in-Marine Engineering, Diploma-in-Textile Engineering, Diploma-in-Agriculture, Diploma-in-Forestry, Diploma-in-Fisheries, and Diploma-in-Livestock. Additionally, there are two-year HSC courses available in Business Management and Technology (BMT) and Vocational programs. Other options include Diploma-in-Commerce and Certificate-in-Marine Trade courses.

The application process involves filling out an online form, uploading a recent passport-sized photo, and paying a fee of Tk 162, which includes Tk 160 for the application and Tk 2 for the mobile operator fee.
