The admission process of the seven government colleges, affiliated to Dhaka University (DU) for graduation class (Honours) in the academic year 2020-21, has been scheduled to begin from next July.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the principals of the colleges with Prof ASM Maksud Kamal, DU Pro-Vice Chancellor and Chief Coordinator of seven colleges on Monday.

This has been confirmed by Prof IK Selim Ullah Khandaker, Co-Ordinator (focal point) of seven colleges and the principal of Dhaka College.

He told the media, “It has been decided to start the application process for the graduate admission of seven colleges from next July. However, no date has been set yet for when the application may start. We hope to be able to announce the exact date and detailed notice soon.”

The principal further said that the date of admission test will be fixed considering the corona situation.

However, no decision has been taken in the meeting regarding the postponed examinations and new examinations of seven colleges due to the pandemic, he said.
