The admission process for the 2024-25 academic year in the first year of undergraduate (honours) programs at 19 public universities under the cluster system has begun Sunday and this process will continue until June 25.
According to a notice from the cluster admission committee, the primary admission fee has been fixed at Tk 5,000 this year. The fee must be paid online between June 22 at 12:00 PM and June 25 at 11:59 PM.
After paying the primary admission fee, students must submit the original copies of their SSC and HSC (or equivalent) mark sheets to any one of the 19 cluster universities. The submission period will run from June 23 at 10:00 AM to June 26 at 3:00 PM.
The admission committee also mentioned that if a candidate fails to pay the admission fee and submit the required documents within the scheduled time, their primary admission will be considered cancelled. In that case, the candidate will no longer be eligible for admission to any of the cluster universities or through any quota in the future.
Students who wish to cancel their primary admission must appear in person at the university where they submitted their original documents to complete the cancellation process.
Additionally, during the admission process, if a student selects the ‘Stop All Migration’ option while being admitted to a specific department of a university, they will not be eligible for migration to any other department at any other university within the cluster system later.
The authorities have requested all students to follow the instructions carefully and complete their admission activities on time.
