Adity Mohsin reaches two decades of career

The completion of two decades of renowned Rabindra Sangeet artiste, Aditi Mohsin's music career is about to be celebrated. Today at 6 pm, the programme titled 'Arun Alor Anjali' has been organized by her well-wishers and friends.

Adity returned to the country at the end of her education from Shantiniketan in 1999. Then she continued her practice of Rabindra Sangeet and is still doing so. 

Adity said, “I used to see a lot of big people living a simple life there. From my music teacher Kanika Bandyopadhyay to Nilima Sen, Manju Bandyopadhyay, Arup Ratan Bandyopadhyay, the influence of people around me has influenced my life.”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the Desi Kottam Award from Visva Bharati University. At that ceremony, Adity performed solo song. The next month, Wahidul Haque returned to the country to start teaching at Chhayant. The following year, the Bengal Foundation recorded the first album of her which was published on 2003. 

Since then she has gained much popularity among the Rabindra Sangeet lovers of the country.
