Acme AI Ltd., in collaboration with the JAAGO Foundation, organised an AI literacy session for adolescent girls at JAAGO Foundation's Korail School to mark International Girls in ICT Day 2026, aiming to equip young learners with essential artificial intelligence knowledge and digital skills.
The interactive session introduced students to the fundamentals of AI, its growing role in everyday life, ethical considerations, safe usage practices and the importance of responsible digital citizenship in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Through discussions and practical activities, participants explored both the opportunities and challenges presented by AI while developing critical thinking skills to navigate future technological advancements.
"Introducing AI to young girls is not just about technology—it is about inclusion and empowerment," said Sumaya Siddiqui, Strategic Support Lead at Acme AI Ltd.
"When girls understand how AI works and how to use it responsibly, they gain the confidence to participate in shaping the digital world. This session is a step towards ensuring they are not just consumers of technology but creators and decision-makers," she added.
