The shooting of the web film 'Chitkar' started on Tuesday at a shooting house in Uttara. The film is based on the story of Ahadur Rahman and directed by Yasser Arafat Jewel under the banner of Cleopatra Films.
Achol Akhe and AK Azad Ador, two artistes of Dhakai movie scene are playing the lead roles in the psycho-thriller movie. The music is directed by Pintu Ghosh, the cinematography is by Ruman Paikar and the line producer is Imdadul Islam Zikran.
Producer director Yasser Arafat Jewel said, “I wanted to hold a celebratory programme to hold the Muhrat. But that was not possible because of the coronavirus. I am shooting according to all kinds of hygiene rules. The character of Azad and Achol in 'Chitkar' is very difficult. They rehearsed for about a month and matched themselves with the character. I hope the audience will get something new through this movie.”
Achol said, “This movie has a challenging character. I have never worked in such a story. In a word, 'Chitkar’ is going to be the best work of my life so far. I believe the Bengali audience will not be disappointed.”
AK Azad Ador said, “Ahad Bhai has written a wonderful story. My character is very challenging. I have worked with director Yasser Arafat Jewel Bhai before. He is an extraordinary director. Under his guidance, I hope I can develop my own character. And I believe that if we can do that, it will be something special for the audience.” Apart from AK Azad Adar and Achol, Shahed Ali, Summita Sinha and many others are also playing different roles in the film.
