The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will hold a mega public hearing in Dinajpur on November 10, offering citizens a platform to lodge complaints against corruption and irregularities in various government offices.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Dinajpur District Shishu Academy auditorium. Md. Ataur Rahman, Deputy Director of the Dinajpur Integrated ACC District Office, confirmed the details on Wednesday.
He stated that the hearing is being organized on the directives of the ACC headquarters, allowing citizens to directly raise issues concerning malpractice, corruption, and public suffering. Rahman urged all aggrieved citizens to submit their complaints by November 8 to ensure no grievance is left unheard.
The hearing will be attended by high-level ACC officials, including Director General (Prevention) Md. Akhtar Hossain and Commissioner (Investigation) Miah Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi, who will serve as chief guests.
Scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM, the program carries the theme, "Let the Youth Unite Against Corruption, Build Integrity for the Future," underscoring the importance of eradicating corruption to ensure a clean tomorrow.
To facilitate the public, the ACC has set up complaint collection booths at three key locations in Sadar upazila: in front of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, at Lily Moor in the city, and at the Sadar Upazila Complex. These booths will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting from Tuesday until November 8.
