ACD Arjun:: A number of 6,825 members of Ansar and Village Defense Party have completed their preparations for overall security duties in the 13th National Parliament elections in Bhola.
In this regard, a parade of the Ansar and VDP was held in Bhola on Monday morning. Barisal Divisional Ansar-VDP Range Commander Md. Abdus Samad (BVM, PVMS) briefed the members present as the chief guest at the parade.
Ansar-VDP Bhola District Commandant Md. Rashed Bin Mamun president over the function where the Range Commander said, "We have to fulfill our respective responsibilities with utmost importance in this election. Because the good or bad of the country for the next 5 years depends on this election.
"On the election day, from voting to the announcement of the results, you have to be so careful that no one can disrupt law and order in any way. The Range Commander said, this time the government has given you sufficient provisions. So you will not drink even a glass of water from anyone while performing your duty," he said.
Patuakhali Ansar Battalion (22BL) Commander Sadan Chakma (BVM) was present as a special guest in the parade conducted by Daulatkhan Upazila Ansar VDP Officer Bibhutibhushan Pramanik.
Concerned officers and employees of Ansar VDP and journalists from various media were present in the parade held at the premises of Bhola District Ansar VDP Commandant's Office.
It is noteworthy that members of Bhola Sadar, Daulatkhan and Borhanuddin Upazilas were present in this important parade and the authorities confirmed that the members of the rest of the Upazilas were connected online.
