Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh held its General Assembly (GA) for 2026 on 12 December in Dhaka, during which the organisation elected its National President Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, Deputy National President, Abu Bakar Shahed, and other National Board Members for the 2026 term.

Among the newly elected leaders, Abdul Kader was selected as the Chairperson of International Business and Trade Relations for the 2026 National Board of JCI Bangladesh, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within the organisation.

JCI Bangladesh, the national organisation of Junior Chamber International, is one of the country’s leading youth leadership platforms. It is dedicated to developing young professionals and entrepreneurs through leadership training, community development, economic empowerment, and international collaboration. Through its structured programmes and nationwide initiatives, JCI Bangladesh plays a vital role in shaping future leaders by promoting innovation, ethical leadership, and global connectivity.

The International Business and Trade Relations portfolio is a newly introduced and strategically significant role within the JCI Bangladesh National Board. The position has been created to strengthen cross-border business engagement, foster international partnerships, facilitate trade dialogue, and connect Bangladeshi entrepreneurs with global opportunities through JCI’s international network, which spans more than 100 countries worldwide.

Mr. Kader brings extensive organisational and leadership experience to this national responsibility. Prior to his election for the 2026 term, he served as Regional Vice President of JCI Bangladesh in 2025, where he successfully coordinated regional initiatives, strengthened inter-chapter collaboration, and supported leadership development programmes. Earlier, in 2024, he served as the Local President of JCI Dhaka Eminent, a chapter he founded in the same year. Under his leadership, JCI Dhaka Eminent quickly emerged as a dynamic and high-performing chapter, gaining recognition for strong member engagement, structured governance, and impactful activities.

Beyond his contributions to JCI, Mr. Kader is a well-recognised business leader and entrepreneur. He is the Founder and Managing Director of MYTARA Group, which includes several subsidiaries such as United Certification Services Limited (UNICERT), Wisdom Valley Limited, and GoYara Limited. His professional background in certification services, IT-enabled solutions, and business development aligns strongly with the objectives of international business facilitation and trade relations within JCI Bangladesh.

With his blend of youth leadership experience, private sector expertise, and a global business outlook, Mr. Kader is well positioned to enhance JCI Bangladesh’s international business engagement in 2026.

His election is regarded as a proud moment for JCI Dhaka Eminent and a positive step forward for JCI Bangladesh’s international trade and business diplomacy agenda. Under his leadership, the organisation is expected to expand global partnerships, empower young entrepreneurs, and further strengthen Bangladesh’s presence within the international JCI business ecosystem.
