Allowance and honorarium were distributed among the presidents and managers of Amar Bari Amar Khamar (ABAK) project at Lakhai upazila in Habiganj on Tuesday. The distribution ceremony was held at the conference room of Lakhai Upazila Parishad. Presidents and general secretaries of a total of 35 associations received a total of Tk 4,31,820 as honorarium.
MP from Habiganj-3 constituency Advocate Md Abu Zahir attended the function as the chief guest with acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sanchita Karmaker in the chair. Chairman of Lakhai Upazila Parishad Advocate Mushfiul Alam Azad, vice chairmen Amirul Islam Alam and Aleya Khatun and others were present at the time.
