Ayub Bachchu, also known as AB to his fans, one of the most talented musicians the country has ever produced, is recognised as a music maestro and legendary rock star to his fans. Since his death last year, fans never thought that they will ever be able to hear any new song by the maestro again.

However, they are in luck as music label Soundtek released an unreleased song of Ayub Bachchu on Friday. The song actually was set to be released 15 years ago in 2004. Friday was Ayub Bachchu’s birthday and on the eve of the legend’s birthday, Sountek released the song, ‘Vabsutro’, on its official YouTube channel.

Penned by Marzuk Russell, the tune of the song was done by AB himself. The remastering of the song was done by Anisuzzaman Anis.

Sources said that ‘Vabsutro’ was produced for the album ‘Fisfasfis’ under the label of Soundtek in 2004. However, due to some complexities, the song never made it to the album and was not released even though all the recordings were done.

In the footnote of ‘Vabsutro’ on YouTube,  Marzuk Russell said that there were 12 songs for that album, but only 11 made it to the final stage due to some technical complexities.

Even though they remembered about the song, they became busy with other projects and could not release it, he said.

Now, after the demise of AB, they have finally taken the initiative to let the listeners hear a new song of the legend one last time.
