Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has married his longtime partner, Gauri Spratt, in an intimate ceremony at his residence in Mumbai's Bandra, marking a new chapter in their relationship after more than two years together.
The couple completed the legal formalities by signing their marriage documents during the private ceremony, according to Indian media reports.
Aamir, 61, publicly confirmed his relationship with Gauri on June 4, revealing that the two had known each other for nearly 25 years before beginning a romantic relationship about two years ago.
The wedding was attended by close family members, including Aamir's three children and Gauri's son, while around 150 guests, including relatives who travelled from overseas, joined the celebration.
This is Aamir's third marriage.
He was first married to film producer Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Although the couple separated in 2021, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad.
Gauri Spratt, who largely stays away from the public spotlight, is originally from Bengaluru. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, a former salon owner.
According to her professional profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School before completing a fashion course in Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004. She currently manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
The couple's low-key wedding comes after months of public interest following Aamir's confirmation of their relationship earlier this year.
