a2i Programme of the government and Access Bangladesh Foundation jointly organized a day long workshop titled “G2B Service Accessibility Challenges for the Entrepreneurs with Disability”.
The workshop took place at the a2iConference room at ICT Tower, Agargaon, Dhaka under “Business Journey Mapping” on Friday.
Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Project Director (Joint Secretary), a2i Programme attended as the chief guest.
Mohammad Salahuddin, National Consultant, Eksheba Implementation Specialist (Deputy Secretary), a2i moderated the daylong workshop while ShammyAkter, SPS Domain Expert (Deputy Secretary), a2i facilitated the feedback session.
Vashkar Bhattacharjee, National Consultant, Disability and Jahir Emam, Individual Consultant also attended the event and contributed withvaluable suggestions to promote entrepreneurs with disabilities in Bangladesh.
Albert Mollah, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Access Bangladesh Foundation and Mohua Paul, Co-Founder of Access Bangladesh Foundation also spoke in the workshop.
The workshop highlighted on the background of the Government to Business (G2B) and business journey mapping, group discussions to identify the sectors where the participants are involved, challenges faced by the entrepreneurs with disabilities in doing business and how to overcome those challenges.
The participants also put their recommendations on how they can get services easily to start and run their business.
A total of t20 small entrepreneurs with disabilities attended the daylong workshop.
