GST admisson test 'Unit A' (Honours) first year for the academic year 2021-22 has been successfully held at Barishal University.
Admission test of 'A' Unit Science Faculty was held on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm.
The total number of candidates in Barishal University is 4273 but 4119 students participated in the exam. The number of absent students is 154. Attendance rate is 96.39 percent.
For the second time, GST admission test of 22 universities is being held simultaneously.
At 11.45 in the morning, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof Dr. Md. Sadequl Arefin visited the examination hall. At this time, he made a general inquiry of the candidates.
Barishal University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Sadequl Arefin said, for the second time, the admission test of 22 universities is being held in a group. A student will get admission in 22 universities through an exam. This will reduce the financial stress of the students. We have completed all activities of admission test with utmost care.
Barishal University Proctor Dr. Md. Khorshed Alam said that the examination was completed properly without any untoward incident. Additional police were deployed to maintain law and order, he said.
