A Scribble Story to compete in Maharashtra

A Scribble Story’, an experimental manor film from Bangladesh, will compete in the upcoming ‘9th Pune Short Film Festival’ in the experimental category. The three-day film festival will take place from June 7 to 11 in Maharashtra, India.

The film ‘A Scribble Story’ is directed by independent filmmaker Faridul Ahasan Shourav and produced by Safwath Tasnia Priyanka. It is a 10-minute film, which is originally a storytelling experiment.

The cinematography of the film is done by Sahela Akter Umama, Rehnuma Antika, Nusrat Nowrin, Shuvo Dutta, Mahnoor Tabassum Meem, Zamim Hossain Chowdhury and Muzaddid Al Arifin. Solika Akter and Nivedita Alice worked as vocal artistes in the film.

To note, ‘A Scribble Story’ won the best experimental film at this year’s January edition of ‘The 12 Months Film Festival’ (12MFF) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
